This was stated to Idman.biz by Ravan Karimov, a member of the Azerbaijani national minifootball team.
He spoke about the team's victory in the world championship held in Baku. Karimov said that the competition was quite tense: "We felt a great responsibility because we were playing in front of fans in our own country. Of course, we took all the games seriously. But our most difficult game was the match against Romania, which was considered an early final. Our initial goal was to become champions, and we built our preparations accordingly. Everything went as we wanted."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won the world championship for the first time, defeating Hungary 4:2 in the final of the World Cup.
