The mini-football world championship started today in Baku. The Azerbaijani national team will play its first match against Bahrain in the group it is in. The match will start at 20:30.
Veteran striker Rauf Aliyev spoke to Sport24.az about his expectations from our national team:
"Our national mini-football team is strong. It proved this by becoming the European Champion. I don't know the strength of the other teams in the championship because I am not interested in them. The competition is held in our country, and why shouldn't our team become the world champion with the support of the fans?"
It should be noted that the world championship will end on June 1.
