Rajab Farajzadeh believes that the Azerbaijani national team will easily advance to the semi-finals at the mini-football world championship held in Baku.
He stated this in an interview with "Report".
The specialist, who currently works in the Azerbaijani U-23 mini-football team, said that the team is preparing very well for the World Cup:
"We even finished the Azerbaijani championship in March for this. Our national team held training camps and friendly matches. I think the team is fully ready. The team consists of members of "Birbaşa Bakı" and "Zira" clubs. "Birbaşa Bakı" is the last winner of the Champions League. "Zira" is also a good team. I think the Azerbaijani national team can easily advance to the semi-finals. At least we expect this from the team."
R. Farajzadeh also answered the question about which teams he considers favorites in the world championship:
"Apart from the Azerbaijani national team, the Romanian national team has always been a favorite. The Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Serbia are also good teams. In general, the teams I mentioned have always been ambitious. I have not seen the games of the others. They say that Turkey also has a very combative team."
It should be noted that the World Championship held at the National Gymnastics Arena will end on June 1. The Azerbaijani national team, which is in group A, will test Bahrain today at 20:30.
