Idman.biz reports that President Ilham Aliyev stated this while receiving members of the Azerbaijani national team, the winner of the minifootball world championship held in Baku.
"Our national team has had various stages of development, and today we are meeting at the victory stage. Of course, foreign experts, and sometimes players, have also contributed. But today, the Azerbaijani national team consists solely of young people born and raised in Azerbaijan, and this evokes a special sense of pride," the head of state added.
