The organization of the World Championship in Baku surprised Yakub Doua, the President of the Mauritania Minifootball Federation.
The functionary gave an interview to "Report" about this.
He shared his thoughts on their victory over Bahrain (2:0) in the second round of Group A:
"This was a historic game for Mauritania. We achieved our first victory in the World Championship. We also want to write new dates for our country. We hope for good results in the upcoming games as well. We sincerely want this."
The President of the Federation spoke about the organization of the World Cup and Baku:
"The organization surprised me. Because I had previously been to the U-23 World Championship organized by the World Minifootball Federation. It wasn't like that. When we came here, we were also surprised that everything is perfect in your city. The conditions, transport, accommodation and so on in Baku."
It should be noted that the World Championship will end on June 1.
