The President of the Chad Minifootball Federation, Mahamat Issak Soqa, praised the opening ceremony of the minifootball World Championship held in Baku.
He said this in a statement to "Report".
The President believes that the Azerbaijani national team will reach the final:
"The organization is excellent. Because there are 32 teams, and it is also good in terms of building relationships between countries. Also, the opening ceremony of the World Championship held in Azerbaijan was one of the best in the last four competitions. We hope that it will continue like this until the end, and Azerbaijan will reach the final. Why not? Because it is the organizing country."
The federation official also touched upon the team's performance:
"The game was a bit difficult. We lost 3:0. We were expecting a draw or a win to reach the 1/8 finals. But unfortunately, Uzbekistan was superior to us in both spirit and endurance. We will do our best next time. We had a few chances, but we couldn't score a goal. This is football. If you waste an opportunity, you can lose."
