Hugo Costa, the manager of the Portugal Minifootball team, considers the Azerbaijani national team to be the favorite in the World Championship.
He said this in an interview with "Report".
The manager also highlighted Romania and the Czech Republic, along with the Azerbaijani national team:
"Of course, the Azerbaijani national team is the favorite in the World Championship. Because in addition to being the host, they are also a great team. Also, the Romanian national team performs very strongly in every World Cup. The Czech Republic also plays very well and is a favorite. These are the best teams I've seen in the championship and I think they will go far."
He also touched upon the game of the Portuguese team, which secured a place in the next stage:
"Since we were the group leader, this game was formal for us. But we really wanted to win and prepare the team for the next game. We feel responsible for finishing the group stage as the leader. We are already waiting for our opponents and our desire is to reach the final."
The team official emphasized that he has seen the best organization in Azerbaijan so far:
"This is the fourth such competition I have participated in. I sincerely say that it is the best organization I have ever seen. I am also sure that the Organizing Committee of the World Championship is one of the best."
