Orkhan Mammadov noted the great role of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the achieved success: "We must not forget the support of President Ilham Aliyev. Thanks to his support and blessing, we were able to win. We express our deep gratitude to the head of state for this. We always feel the support of the state. We will continue to do our best to involve the younger generation in minifootball."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team defeated the Hungarian team 4:2 in the decisive match and became the winner of the World Cup.
