- The Azerbaijani national team became the world champion for the first time in its history. We congratulate you on this occasion. What feelings are you experiencing, what are your impressions?
- Even a good word is not enough for this. These are great feelings. It was a tiring period for us. Because in the other tournaments we participated in, we only did work related to our national team. But now we were dealing with all the participating teams, organization, the course of the tournament and other things. It was a little difficult. But it was a great experience. The final result helped to eliminate fatigue. The World Championship in Baku was remembered with good memories.
- Representatives of the international organization and other officials stated that they liked the organization of the World Cup. You have also participated in several competitions before. What distinguished the tournament in Baku from others?
- This was different from other competitions, from the arena where the games were held to other matters. The tournament in Baku is the best competition I have ever seen. Officials and players of the participating countries were also very satisfied.
- President Ilham Aliyev received the members of the national team after the victory. What are your impressions of the meeting?
- This meeting was a greater achievement than winning the World Championship. This is exactly what we wanted after winning the title. It was a very pleasant meeting. We feel happy. Normally, you win the cup and that's it. But our goal, desire and dreams were fulfilled at yesterday's meeting. Not everyone gets to meet the head of state. On my own behalf and on behalf of our federation, I thank Mr. President for taking the time for us. It was a very sincere meeting, we took a photo and he wished us success in the next tournaments. We are grateful to our President for this.
- "Birbaşa Bakı" became the winner of the Champions League at the club level, and the Azerbaijani national team is already the world champion. What are your goals for the future?
- We intend to achieve the maximum result in every tournament we participate in. Our goals do not change. We will not be satisfied with the achievements. We want to stay at this peak. We do not intend to lose the title. Now we have to work to protect it.
- There is no team in minifootball history that has been world champion twice in a row. Can the Azerbaijani national team break this record?
- This will also be our next goal. We will participate in the European Championship in 2026. We became champions in 2022. Then we could not defend this title. We have set ourselves the goal of being the best in the continent again. The Champions League will be held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in September. "Birbaşa Bakı" and "Zirə" will participate in the competition. We want at least one of our two clubs to win the cup. "Birbaşa Bakı" will try to defend the title. We are working for both the national team and the clubs to become champions.
