The mini-football championship among the agencies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty", was held at the open-air stadium of the MES Sports and Health Club.
İdman.biz reports that about 220 athletes from a total of 20 teams from the MES apparatus and agencies participated in the championship. The chief referee of the championship was Rasim Alizade.
At the event, which began with the sounding of the National Anthem, the dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute's silence.
Fuzuli Musayev, the head of the MES Sports and Health Club, spoke about the attention and care shown to the development of sports at the state level in our country, and about the determined struggle and achievements of the ministry's athletes in various competitions.
In the match for 3rd place in the five-day championship, the team of the Special Risky Rescue Service (XRXX) won against the team of the MES Academy and won the bronze medal of the championship. In the final, the team of the State Fire Protection Service (DYMX) faced the team of Civil Defense Forces.
The DYMX team, which won with a score of 3:0, became the champion of the competition.
