He commented on the victory won at the minifootball world championship held in Baku: "I congratulate the entire Azerbaijani people on the victory. We prepared for the final at a high level. Until this match, we could not take advantage of many goal episodes. But today we started scoring goals from the first minutes. Thank you to everyone who supported us."
The Azerbaijani team won the world championship by defeating Hungary 4:2 in the final match held at the National Gymnastics Arena.
