Durul Tuğ, the head coach of the Turkish national mini-football team, has named the Azerbaijani national team as the main favorite of the World Championship held in Baku.
The expert stated this in an interview with "Report".
"In my opinion, the main favorite of the World Championship is the Azerbaijani national team. I'm not saying this because I'm Turkish. I think these fans and the team deserve to be champions. Other favorites could be Serbia and Romania," D. Tuğ emphasized.
The expert said that the organization was taken very seriously:
"The organization of the World Championship in Azerbaijan is very successful. It was taken very seriously and valued. Each of the 32 teams competing in the competition feels valued. These are the best words I can say about the World Championship held in Azerbaijan."
He evaluated the performance of his team:
"We could have played better. We are a new team, we will work hard to get better. We have shortcomings. It was a great experience for us."
It should be noted that the Turkish national team stopped competing after losing to England with a score of 0:3 in the last - III round of the group stage of the World Championship.
