Elshad Guliyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national minifootball team, assessed the game in which they won against Mauritania in the last match of the group stage of the World Championship.
"Report" reports that the specialist thanked those who supported the team during the games.
He emphasized that the players showed a good game:
"I thank our people who support us. Thank you, they bother to come to the arena and spare no support until the end. Thanks to this, we won. It was a difficult game, we patiently tried to neutralize the opponent's defense until the end. We managed to score a goal shortly before the end of the match. The boys played well."
E. Guliyev said that the opponents played defensive football against the Azerbaijani national team:
"The games are getting more and more difficult. Because opponents also analyze other teams. Opponents do not play open football against us, they play from defense. In this case, we lose strength and it becomes difficult for us. After our opponents are determined in the next stage, we will analyze and prepare. It's football, someone has to win. We have to prepare better."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team defeated Mauritania 2:0 in the last round of the group stage and qualified for the 1/8 finals.
