Elshad Guliyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national minifootball team, commented on the game in which they defeated Romania and advanced to the 1/4 finals of the world championship.

He emphasized that the players showed a good game:
"This match could be called an early final. Romania is a really good team. We also defeated this team when they were European champions. It wasn't really easy for us. The upcoming matches will also be difficult. If we want to become world champions, we must win all matches. After enjoying the victory for 1-2 hours, we will prepare for the match with England."
It should be noted that the team advanced to the next stage by winning the penalty shootout (2:1) in the match against Romania, which ended with a score of 1:1 in regular time.
