Azerbaijan has once again shown that it hosts prestigious competitions magnificently.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov.
Speaking to journalists after the awarding ceremony of the mini-football world championship held in Baku, the minister said that the competition was organized at a high level:
"We have had success in mini-football before. The national team won a gold medal at the European Championship. A world championship has also been added to this success. The Azerbaijani people are in joy. Great thanks to the fans who did not leave the national team alone in this matter. Azerbaijan has once again confirmed that it hosts such competitions magnificently. The UFC competition and the CIS Games are ahead of us. I am sure that we will pass these tests with dignity."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won the mundial by defeating Hungary 4:2 in the final.
