England national team captain Long Ben stated that there are all conditions for preparing at a high level for the mini-football world championship games held in Baku.
The football player said this in an interview with "Report".
He was pleased with what he saw at the National Gymnastics Arena:
"There are also conditions for footballers to get massages here. Then we can take a bath at the best level. So, we are preparing for matches with high motivation."
L.Ben also talked about the game in which they defeated Bulgaria and advanced to the 1/4 finals:
"This was the most difficult match we had in the tournament. The opponent has many good players. We retreated to defense while leading in the score. But unfortunately, we could not keep the winning score. Penalty kicks are a lottery and we won it. Perhaps we have the strongest goalkeeper in the tournament. We are happy for the victory."
It should be noted that the England national team faced Bulgaria in the 1/8 finals and the main time of the match ended with a score of 2:2. The English, who were more accurate in the penalty shoot-out (3:1), advanced to the next stage.
