Perhaps our team was the most seriously prepared for the World Championship. And it was not in vain.
Elvin Alizade, the captain of the Azerbaijani national team, which won the minifootball World Championship held in Baku, said this in an interview with "Report".
E. Alizade emphasized that the team had specially prepared for the minifootball World Championship: "Our preparations were very difficult. We worked very hard."
According to him, the victory was the purposeful result of the effort and hard work: "In the first games, the pitch factor affected our performance. This moment played a role not only for us, but also in the game of all teams. But then we adapted."
The captain also spoke about the love of the fans: "We are very happy to earn this respect."
Let us remind that the Azerbaijani national team, led by Elshad Guliyev, defeated the Hungarian national team in the final match of the minifootball World Championship. The match held on June 1 at the National Gymnastics Arena ended with a 4:2 victory for the team.
