Azerbaijan showed the whole world how to organize the World Cup.
This was stated to "Report" by Bahrain national team player Ali Khalifa, while talking about the minifootball World Championship held in Baku.
He spoke positively about the organization of the competition:
"I thank Azerbaijan for this. Everything is very good and at a high level. Your country showed the whole world how to organize the World Cup."
He shared his thoughts on the game they lost to Mauritania (0:2) in the second round of Group A:
"First of all, I want to thank the organizers. I apologize to our fans. We could not perform well in today's match. We said that we would correct our mistakes in the next matches. This time there were some individual mistakes. We will do our best in the third match. We plan to get out of the group. We don't want to go home now."
Ali Khalifa also spoke about the Azerbaijani national team:
"The Azerbaijani national team is a well-known team. They are among the top five teams in the world championship."
It should be noted that the World Championship organized at the National Gymnastics Arena will end on June 1.
