Faiq Huseynov, the Azerbaijani therapist-doctor of the UAE mini-football team, shared his thoughts on the world championship held in Baku.
The specialist spoke positively about the National Gymnastics Arena, where the World Cup was held, in his statement to "Report".
He said that a lot of work has been done to hold such a magnificent event:
"I express my gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the leadership of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation. A lot of work has been done to hold such sporting events in Baku. Coming to my homeland and seeing the National Gymnastics Arena in excellent condition excited me very much. The organization is simply magnificent."
F. Huseynov also expressed his desire to be useful to Azerbaijani football:
"I have been working in football since the 1970s. I have been active since the era of football players such as Iskandar Javadov and Mashallah Ahmadov. I would very much like to receive an invitation from the Azerbaijani national football team. I want to contribute to the players who play there, to be useful to Azerbaijani football. I am a person who breathes football. I believe that one day I will receive a job offer from the national team."
It should be noted that the UAE team, where Faig Huseynov works, lost both matches in the world championship and lost its chances of advancing from the group.
