The award ceremony of the Minifootball World Championship held in Baku took place.
Idman.biz reports that the ceremony held at the National Gymnastics Arena was attended by the President of the World Minifootball Federation Filip Juda, Vice President Peter Kralik, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation Orkhan Mammadov and other officials.
Speaking at the event, Farid Gayibov said that the championship was organized at a high level. The Minister congratulated the Azerbaijani people on their victory.
AMF head Orkhan Mammadov thanked everyone who worked hard to organize the championship in his speech. The head of the organization recalled the importance of Baku hosting a magnificent competition.
The Azerbaijani national team, the winner of the championship, was awarded a gold medal and a cup. The Hungarian footballers, who took second place, were awarded silver medals, and the Serbian team, which took third place, was awarded bronze medals.
