"We appointed a new coach after January. I believe that under the leadership of Yevgeny Kuksevich, we will be able to pass the initial stage. We are currently in negotiations with 5 new players." These words were said by the vice-president of the Araz-Nakhchivan futsal club, Mahmud Sadigov, in an interview with Sport24.az.
The experienced functionary also revealed the plans of the Nakhchivan representative regarding preparations for the Champions League:
"Probably, the new transfers will join the team closer to the end of June. We will have a 10-day training camp. After that, we will start daily training. The draw will take place at the beginning of next month, and our opponents will be known. Our preparation will continue accordingly. Most likely, the team will also hold a training camp abroad. During the preparation period, test matches with both foreign and local teams are planned."
It should be noted that "Araz-Nakhchivan", celebrating its 19th championship in its history, will represent our country in the UEFA Champions League in the 2025-2026 season. "Araz-Nakhchivan"'s opponents will be determined in the draw to be held on July 3.
