The Azerbaijan national beach soccer team played its first match in the first qualifying round (EBSL) of the European Championship. Sport24.az reports that our national team, which is in Group A of League B, faced the England team.
The match held in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, ended with a 5:4 victory for Sahib Mammadov's team.
Ramil Aliyev scored twice, Sahib Mammadov and Bayram Bayramli scored once each, and one goal was recorded as an own goal.
It should be noted that our team will play its next group matches against Belgium (13:00) on May 24 and Lithuania (14:15) on May 25.
