New details have emerged regarding the future career of Abdullah Zubir, who is expected to leave "Qarabag" at the end of the season. According to Sport24.az, the 34-year-old winger has set a condition for the transfer to the Qatari club "Al-Shahaniya".
He stated that he could agree to this transfer if the team stays in the elite division.
Otherwise, Zubir will continue to wear the "Qarabag" jersey until the summer of 2027.
It should be noted that "Al-Shahaniya" is currently in last - 12th place with 20 points in the Qatar Super League. There is only one round left until the end of the season in the championship, and "Umm-Salal" in 11th place also has the same number of points.
According to the regulations, the owner of the 11th place plays a play-off to stay in the elite, and the 12th place goes directly to the lower league.
It should be noted that Zubir has been playing for "Qarabag" since 2018.
