Ivan Rakitić, the footballer of "Hajduk," who is "Zira"'s opponent in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, has made a decision about his future. Sport24.az reports that the 37-year-old midfielder has ended his professional career. The Croatian club's press service has released information about this.
Ivan Rakitić is a graduate of "Basel." The experienced footballer later played for "Schalke," "Sevilla," "Barcelona," and "Al-Shabab" before joining "Hajduk." He scored 15 goals in 106 official matches for the Croatian national team.
It should be noted that "Zira"'s first match with "Hajduk" will take place on July 23 in Baku. The return match between the teams will be held in Split on July 31.
