The defender spoke about the situation of his team after the defeat to "Hajduk" in the Conference League: "We are preparing for the championship with full motivation. We fought well in both games against "Hajduk", we showed a good game. We could have passed the stage. We did not lag behind in terms of the game against an experienced opponent. These matches were a great experience for us and will give a serious impetus for participation in European cups in the future. There is little time left before the start of the championship. Currently, all our attention is on the upcoming games. We have some injured players in our team. After they are fully ready, we will be able to start the championship with an optimal squad."

The captain stated that he believes that increasing the number of teams in the Premier League will create competition: "The level of the Premier League is increasing year by year. There will be 12 teams in the championship this season. Rival clubs are also forming their squads and they are all ambitious. There will be a tough fight for a place in the European Cups. We have been participating in European Cups for two years now and we want to repeat the same success this season."
