Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane intends to return to work soon.
Idman.Biz reports that Zinedine attended a charity match in Toulon organized by a friend as a fan, but did not go on the field.
"I would like to play, but we are not getting younger. We are getting older and, unfortunately, we get injured from time to time. Therefore, I will remain a coach for now," said Zidane.
When asked when he would return to his coaching career, he replied "soon".
The French specialist has not worked as a head coach since leaving Real Madrid in 2021. The 53-year-old specialist is considered the main candidate for the position of head coach of the French national team after Didier Deschamps at the 2026 World Cup.
