Former French national team player Zinedine Zidane has reached a verbal agreement with the French Football Federation (FFF) to become the head coach of the national team. Sport24.az reports that the "Le Parisien" newspaper has reported this.
According to the source, FFF President Philippe Diallo said that he already knows the name of the new head coach of the French national team. However, he did not reveal the name of the specialist and only stated that all five are French.
As the coach of "Real", Zinedine Zidane is a two-time Spanish champion. He also won two Spanish Super Cups and three Champions League titles with the team.
It should be noted that the French national team will play in Group D at the World Cup 2026 with Senegal, Norway and a team to be determined in the play-offs.
