Zinedine Zidane is sure that Andres Iniesta unfairly faced the main individual award.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Frenchman believes that the Spanish footballer was world-class and deserved the Ballon d'Or, especially after winning the World Cup in 2010.
Although Iniesta won every competition with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, he only reached second place in 2010 and third place in 2012.
"If you love football, it's hard to see such a player leave. For me, he is not a Barcelona player, just a footballer. He should have received the Ballon d'Or that everyone dreams of. Especially in the year he won the World Cup."
