Zenit's central midfielder Vendel could continue his career in the Turkish championship.
Lent.az reports that, according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu's social media posts, Zenit's CEO Aleksandr Medvedev offered the Turkish club's president to buy the Brazilian.
The source also states that Medvedev offered to transfer Vendel to Botafogo at the end of the season on the same terms, but it did not happen.
Also, according to reports, the issue of Vendel's transfer to Fenerbahce remains at the discussion stage.
Last season, Vendel played 27 games for the blue-white-blues in all tournaments. In them, the midfielder scored two goals and provided 13 assists.
