"The 5-hour journey from Zaqatala to Agsu on game day created additional fatigue for the players. My players' legs were cramping. Thanks to the guys, they showed character. This is a very important factor in Azerbaijani football." These words were said by "Zaqatala" head coach Rustam Mammadov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist commented on the game in the 7th round of the First League, in which they defeated "Difai":
"The first half of the match went better for us. In the second half, the road fatigue I emphasized showed itself. Although we were ahead in the score, the opponent was putting pressure. We won after 3 games. The teams that beat us are at the top of the league. To win, you have to score and keep the goal intact. We were losing because we had the problems I mentioned. We want to score, but it doesn't work, we lack composure. No specific goal has been set for the team this season. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't play football. "Zaqatala" is fighting to be among the prize-winners. The club management has not given any special instructions."
