Zamiq Aliyev wanted to leave "Egnatia", but the club didn't allow it

Albanian club "Egnatia" did not allow Azerbaijani national team footballer Zamiq Aliyev to move to other teams.

The 24-year-old defender said this in a statement to "Report" about this.

He said that they are currently fighting for the championship in the "Egnatia" team:

"Everything is fine in the team. The difficult schedule has already started and we look at every game as a final. We are separated by 2 points from the team that is in the first place in the tournament table. We want to win all the remaining matches and become champions. We are doing everything we can for this. We have an important game with the "Vlajniya" team in two days. We want to take 3 points and rise to the lead".

Z. Aliyev did not hide that he received offers from other clubs in the Albanian championship:

"I received offers from several Albanian clubs, but "Egnatia" did not allow me to leave. Finally, I received an offer from the Lithuanian team "Zalgiris". They even wanted to pay money for me. But "Egnatia" did not want to let me go. I am not thinking about the future. All my thoughts are about winning the championship with "Egnatia". We can talk about this after the end of the season".

It should be noted that after 27 rounds in the Albanian championship, "Egnatia" club is third with 49 points. The leader "Vlajniya" has 51 points.
