"Zamiq is one of our key players. He had offers from several clubs. Official offers are another matter." Sport24.az reports that Kleydi Zenelay, sports director of the Albanian club "Egnatia", said this in his statement to Apasport.az.
The club official stated that the transfer of Azerbaijani national team defender Zamiq Aliyev to the Ukrainian team "Veres" did not take place and that the player will stay at "Egnatia": "The Veres issue was real and on the agenda. But he will not move to Veres. The current situation is that the transfer to the Ukrainian club did not happen and he stayed at Egnatia. Time will tell what will happen later. The main issue is finance, Veres could not pay the required amount for Aliyev. In any case, Zamiq is our football player, time and future offers will show what will happen in the future."
