The Ukrainian national team must win the next match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.
According to "Report", Ilya Zabarnyi, a member of the national team, stated this on the official website of the Ukrainian Football Association.
The defender, who plays for PSG, shared his thoughts on the match they lost to France with two unanswered goals in the first round:
"I would like us to get a positive result. But this is football. We will focus on the next match, which we have to win."
Ukraine will hold its next qualifying round match against the Azerbaijani national team.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match will take place on September 9 at 20:00 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.
