Yuri Vernidub, the head coach of the Azerbaijani club "Neftchi", has refused the management's proposal regarding the formation of the coaching staff.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to sportinfo.az that the Ukrainian specialist showed no interest in the club's offer to cooperate with Javid Huseynov.
Vernidub stated that he does not need the services of the young coach, who previously worked as an assistant to Gurban Berdyev at "Turan Tovuz" and most recently at "Sabail."
It is noted that the 59-year-old coach collected information about Huseynov from various sources, and the conflicting nature of the information obtained influenced his decision.
Vernidub also recalled the specialist's unsuccessful periods at "Shamakhi" and "Sabail", and explicitly stated that he did not want a similar situation to be repeated at "Neftchi."
It is reported that the coach, who took over the helm of the "white-blacks" on December 9 of last year, has ordered the preparation of an alternative list of local specialists and plans to work with another Azerbaijani coach.
