Yuri Vernidub, the head coach of "Neftchi", is pleased to work in Azerbaijan. But the Ukrainian specialist also has some complaints.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that Y.Vernidub is dissatisfied with the fields:
"I can't say that I don't like something, the only problem is that I don't like some clubs playing on artificial pitches. The quality of the grass is also not very good on some pitches. For example, as far as I know, the "Imishli" field in Guba is in bad shape. But we haven't played there yet, so I can't say. But according to what I've seen from the outside, the field is in a tragic state. That's why I'm on Gurban Gurbanov's side! He also complained about this stadium."
The head coach of "Neftchi" thinks that some of our teams can compete for high places in the Ukrainian championship:
"Sabah", "Qarabag" and "Neftchi" can do it. All three teams are high-level. It may have negative effects for Azerbaijani football, but in general, it is a very positive thing that you do not have a legionnaire limit in your championship. Very high-quality foreign football players play here. Even teams fighting for lower places have strong legionnaires. "Qarabag", I would even say that "Sabah" can also play for the championship in Ukraine. Even "Neftchi" itself, if it gets together with its current squad, can achieve something there."
