"My contract with "Kapaz" has expired. I have not been offered a new contract."
These words were said to Sport24.az by Belarusian football player Yegor Khvalko.
The 28-year-old defender said that the situation with his career is not yet clear:
"We had a conversation at the end of the season. The management said they wanted to sign a contract with me. But there have been no updates since then."
Khvalko said that several clubs are interested in him:
"There are options. But no one has offered an official contract yet. I wanted to stay at "Kapaz". After all, I was in this team for three years. But such things happen in sports life.
The player answered the question "maybe you are not included in the plans of the new head coach Adil Shukurov" like this:
"I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want me. If there is an offer, I will first consider continuing my career in Azerbaijan. Because I feel comfortable here, I am used to the country."
