Captain Yegor Khvalko is one of the players released by "Kapaz".
The Belarusian footballer did not remain without a club for long. The defender moved to Kazakhstan's "Tobol".
Idman.biz reports that the former captain of the "Ganja team" spoke to Sport1.az about living as a legionnaire in the post-Soviet representative and whether he had other options.
After leaving "Kapaz", Khvalko rested in his homeland for a while and reviewed the offers: "Among the invitations, the most attractive and definite was from "Tobol". They called me to sign a contract directly. I am satisfied with my decision. Currently, "Tobol" is in the top "3" in the tournament table. One thing is certain, with my new team, we will fight not to stay in the championship, but for bigger goals. This means a new page and development in my career".
The football player spoke about whether he received offers from Azerbaijani clubs: "After leaving Kapaz, I waited for offers from Premier League representatives. Anyway, my goal was to continue my legionnaire life. Azerbaijan is suitable for playing football. But no offer came".
Khvalko did not want to compare the Azerbaijani and Kazakhstan Premier Leagues: "It is too early for me to say anything about this yet. Because I have played few games in the squad of "Tobol". I have given 3 years to "Kapaz". Therefore, I don't think it's the right time to compare the championships".
