İdman.biz reports that this was stated by Belarusian footballer Yegor Khvalko, who left "Kapaz", in his statement to Telegraf.
The 28-year-old defender said that he does not understand why Adil Shukurov did not like his performance after being appointed head coach: "I myself do not know the reason for the separation. Nothing was said to me personally. The decision was made by the management."
Despite his unexpected departure, Khvalko said that he left the club normally: "This did not offend me. Because I am a mature person and I understand everything. I have always said that if a sponsor comes to the team, "Kapaz" will fight for European cups in a year or two."
The experienced captain also expressed his desire to stay in Azerbaijan: "I would always be happy to play in Azerbaijan. I have not received any offers from any club at the moment."
