Yassin Benzia, whose contract with "Qarabag" expired and left the team, played in the next game for the Algerian national team. Sport24.az reports that the 30-year-old midfielder scored a goal and provided an assist in a friendly match against Sweden.
Benzia came on in the 60th minute - when Algeria was trailing 0:4. He assisted Bennacer just 4 minutes later, and in the 71st minute he reduced the deficit himself. Although Algeria scored another goal in the last minute, they could not avoid defeat - 3:4.
