"It's difficult to make predictions in the final. The team you consider the favorite may not live up to expectations." These words were said by Yashar Seyidov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced functionary shared his expectations for the final match of the Azerbaijan Cup, which will be held today:
"On paper, the favorite is "Qarabag". But "Sabah" can also surprise. Since "Qarabag" will secure our country in the Champions League, they will be more relaxed in this game. Of course, they have been promised a certain cash prize. I don't believe the players will refuse this amount. If "Sabah" fails to win the cup, they will be out of the European Cups. Therefore, the "owls" must play more carefully and wholeheartedly. The management pays them enough salary. Players must have responsibility for the salary they earn."
It should be noted that the match, which will be held today at the Mehdi Huseynzade Sumgayit city stadium, will start at 19:00.
