According to Idman.biz, journalist Helena Condis Edo of the COPE publication announced this on the social network X.
It should be noted that earlier there were reports in the media that the award would be given to Yamal.
The 69th Ballon d'Or ceremony will be held today, September 22, at the Chatelet Theater in Paris. The event will start at 23:00 Baku time.
Let us remind you that for the fourth time in history, the award will be presented based on the results of the season, not the year (August 1, 2024 – July 13, 2025). Sports journalists from countries included in FIFA's current top 100 ranking participated in the voting.
