– What was the reason for your late arrival to the conference?
– We were giving interviews to other channels.
– Did you see the "Qarabag" you expected?
– Yes. We knew the strength of "Qarabag" from the beginning. We knew it would be a difficult game. We didn't start the match well, "Qarabag" played perfectly in the first half. We made changes in the second half and became more active. We couldn't take advantage of our chances. After the break, we played a little better than "Qarabag". Overall, we could have achieved a draw, but it didn't work out. "Qarabag" deserved the victory.
– You also lost to "Qarabag" 8 years ago. Do you see this team among your strongest opponents?
– We can say that. We treat all opponents with respect. We knew it would be so difficult. "Qarabag" has European experience. They have excellent, highly technical players in their squad. I must also mention their head coach, Gurban Gurbanov. He has been at the "helm" of the club for many years. "Qarabag" showed today that they are excellent.
– To what extent did the fans' support play a role in "Qarabag"'s victory?
– The defeat has nothing to do with the atmosphere. We are familiar with such atmospheres in the Champions League. I felt the energy. There was a great atmosphere. We understood that all the fans are proud of "Qarabag".

– There may be surprises. Development is important. "Qarabag" can also reach the play-offs. Despite our defeat, it is not the end of everything.
– What did you want to change after the first half and what didn't work out?
– We weren't good in the first half, we couldn't keep the ball, we were under pressure. That's why I made changes. We play in a 4-4-2 system. We tried to be aggressive in the second half. We had good chances, but we couldn't use them.
