"Levski" will host "Sabah" in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Bulgarian representative, Xulio Velasquez, participated in the press conference held before the match.
The Spanish expert stated that they respect the opponent.
"Sabah" is less known than APOEL and "Braga". I told the players this morning that it would be a very big mistake on our part if we don't treat them with the same responsibility as we did against previous opponents. The opponent deserves our respect. We have spent enough time and energy analyzing them. Many of last season's players continue to play for the team this season. They have talented and good players. If you allow the opponent to play with the ball and reach the final part of the field, they are extremely dangerous. I would distinguish the team in "Sabah", not individual players. If you allow them to have the ball in the final part of the field, they will cause you problems. I have great faith in my players, in our own qualities. I believe that the team is focused on the game and clearly understands what they need to do."
It should be noted that the "Levski" - "Sabah" match will start on August 7 at 22:00 Baku time. The return match will take place in Baku a week later.
