Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons is ready to move to Chelsea. Sport24.az reports that ESPN has reported on this.
According to the source, the Dutch footballer has chosen the London club despite interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Leipzig will not participate in European cups this season, while Chelsea will play in the Champions League.
Note that the German club bought Simons for 50 million euros at the beginning of 2025. Prior to that, Xavi played for Leipzig on loan. In total, he played 77 matches for the Bundesliga club, scored 22 goals and provided 24 assists.
