Real's new head coach Xabi Alonso has stated that only those who don't hold back will appear on the field in his team. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to "Cadena Ser":
"My message to the players is very simple: if you don't run or give your all on the field, whoever you are, you won't play. Anyone who hesitates to press will be warned.
You don't need to run like defenders, but it is your duty to constantly put pressure on the opponent's central defenders."
It should be noted that Real will play its first game under Alonso's leadership on June 18, in the group stage of the Club World Cup, against Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal team.
