Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton will move to Real Madrid. Sport24.az reports that the El Nacional publication has released information about this.
According to the source, the head coach of the Spanish club, Xabi Alonso, considers the 21-year-old midfielder the "new Kroos" and is making efforts to transfer him. Real Madrid are ready to pay approximately 60 million euros for the player.
It should be noted that Wharton has appeared in 13 matches in all tournaments this season and provided 1 assist. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at 60 million euros.
