Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has reacted to doubts about his performance at the "Royal Club".
According to Idman.Biz, the head coach said that he lives under criticism and pressure.
"We are where we are in La Liga and the Champions League. We live under pressure and criticism. This is Real Madrid.
We need to focus on development and victory in order to be competitive for all cups in April and May," Sport.es quoted Alonso as saying.
The Spanish coach started working at Real Madrid last summer. After 14 rounds of La Liga, the club has 33 points and is currently in second place. In five Champions League games, the Madrid team has won 12 points and is currently in fifth place.
