Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso has commented on Vinicius Junior's argument with Diego Simeone.
Idman.Biz reports that Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup.
When the Brazilian footballer left the field in the 81st minute, the Atletico coach first pointed to the stands and then to his ear, saying something.
After leaving the field, Vinicius began to express his dissatisfaction with Simeone's actions. The Los Blancos coaches and substitutes had to take the 25-year-old player off the field.
"I try to treat rival players with respect and I usually don't talk to them. When I understood what he said, I didn't like it. It's not a good example of sportsmanship.
Not everything is acceptable - you have to respect your opponent. There is a limit to what happens on the field," Alonso said.
