Xabi Alonso's appointment as the new head coach of "Real" has been formalized.
Idman.biz reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
A contract has already been signed with the 43-year-old Spanish specialist. He will coach the team until the summer of 2028. The contract will take effect from June 1, 2025.
A while ago, the La Liga giant parted ways with Carlo Ancelotti.
Note that Xabi Alonso has been the head coach of "Bayer" since October 2022. Under Alonso's leadership, the Leverkusen representative became the German champion last year.
