Idman.Biz reports that Xabi Alonso, who took over the team during the summer break, has written his name in the club's history with this result.
According to journalist Pedro Martin, Alonso is the first coach in Real's history to win 10 out of 11 games in his debut season in La Liga with the team.
Previously, only three Barcelona coaches had achieved a similar result - Hansi Flick (2024/25), Gerardo Martino (2013/14) and Tito Vilanova (2012/13 seasons).
Real has only started the season with 10 wins in 11 games four times in its history - in the 1961/62, 1968/69, 1991/92 and 2022/23 seasons.
